Island Jam has an incredible army of fans who we love seeing come back to compete year after year. Take a look at some of their feedback below.

Why not buy a ticket to come and watch this year and let us know what you think??

I wasn’t really sure what Island Jam was all about last year but my little girl Macy loves music and dancing so we went to watch as it was something to do on a winters day and Macy wanted to support the dancers!

It was a great afternoon. There was a real sense of community in the room. There was so much love, passion, dedication and encouragement from everyone! I really wished I had entered Macy.

She danced in between the dance breaks (there was a dj playing all day and he was amazing) and she ended up being presented with an award as the organizers and judges were entertained with her love and passion for dancing. At that point I realised she needed to be in that competition next year!

She cannot wait for the competition this year! The dance community at Island Jam support one another! Its such fun way to keep children active, to grow their confidence and meet other children with the same passion for music and dance. I cannot wait for Island Jam this year!

I’m a fully fledged dance Mum now!’

‘Last year my two girls Bella & Indie and I came to watch the Island Jam. We loved it! The dancers were amazing and there was a real sense of team work and togetherness! Everyone was encouraging each other which was so lovely to watch!

Watching the Island Jam made both my girls want to immediately start street dance and Bella, especially, is really looking forward to taking part in the Island Jam this year!’

‘After the Dance World Cup in Jersey 2016 my B Creative team got the feel of what it was like to compete and loved it! When I heard about the UberEssential Island Jam, a competition with professional pioneer judges we had to take part! It can be expensive to fly to the UK to other street dance competitions so this is a perfect opportunity to get involved in something closer to home.

There were so many fantastic groups as well as solo/duo/trios. It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids and adults who have a passion for street dance to get out there and show what they can do.

The experience was fantastic! We didn’t know what to expect but the whole day had a buzz about it. In 2017 it was even bigger and better! My students want to learn more and be the best they can be, it gives them a focus, something to work towards each year, to get more experience and have fun with their friends, such a good vibe!’

‘I have entered Island Jam as a soloist, with a trio and with my dance team! We live to perform so Island Jam is a great way to do that here is Jersey!’
